Claire Elizabeth Cosmetics is a new makeup brand that focuses on caring for nature and the lives of animals. The brand believes in creating products that not only make you feel good but help others by donating half of their profits to animal shelters. I was fortunate enough to be gifted their lip products to be reviewed. Keep reading to hear what I thought of their Galactic Gloss, Lipstick and Liquid Lipstick.
Shade: Solar is a pretty shade shifting colour that transitions from a pink shimmer to a gold. The shade range on the website was quite impressive with yellow, blue, purple and more available.
Price: $24.99 USD
Pigment: The gloss does have some shimmer but is more of a subtle gloss than a glitter gloss.
Lasting Power: This gloss has lasted 2-3 hours before needing a touch-up but still looks beautiful as it wears away.
Shade: Pretty Tizzy is a plum metallic shade that reminded me of a metallic liquid lipstick. It would work well as a topper on a darker lipstick to add a shimmer.
Price: $17.99 USD
Pigment: The lipstick has a nice sheer layer of pigment rather than a bold colour. This makes it not too overpowering which is great for that shade.
Lasting Power: The lipstick lasts longer as a topper than as normal because it is not matte. The lipstick still lasts, leaving a subtle hint of colour as it fades.
Shade: Aphrodite is a rich burgundy shade which reminds me of the 90's vampy lip. It is a bold shade which compliments the Pretty Tizzy lipstick.
Price: $21.99 USD
Pigment: This lipstick is super pigmented! It had an even application with a deep colour.
Lasting Power: The liquid lipstick was very comfortable on my lips and lasted for such a long time. It dried down matte and wouldn't budge.
