Lucy Hale's Makeup Look For The Teen Choice Awards Was Created Using These Products
The 20th annual Teen Choice Awards took place a week ago which gathered the hottest actors, musicians and influencers at Hermosa Beach CA for a night of handing out awards, musical performance and celebrity appearances. Lucy Hale co hosted the event and had the most talked about look of the night. She walked the red carpet in a Jean Paul Gautier red and black beaded mini dress but it was her makeup look that caught everybody's attention.
Hale's makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan revealed the product she used to create the look on her Instagram story. The look featured a bright red lip that stood out against the 'Pretty Little Liars' actress' fair skin beautifully and a highly pigmented blush applied high up the stars face, The star who is know for her thick brows used the e.l.f Cosmetics Wow Brow Gel and Ultra Precise Brow Pencil to keep them looking full.
As a base for the makeup Kelsey Deenihan used Sephora Collection All Day Hydrator all over the face then applied Sephora Collection's Super Matte Moisturiser in the 'Katy Keene' actress' t-zone. She then added radiance using Sephora Collection's Ultra Glow Serum. All of the products that Deenihan uses on Lucy Hale are affordable (everything is under $20!)
After using these products to create a hydrated base, Deenihan then used e.l.f Cosmetics Flawless Finish Foundation (beige shade) and the 16 Hour Camo Concealer (light beige shade) to create a smooth and even complexion. For the blush she applied the brands Aqua Beauty Blush and Bronzer in Bronzed Violet to the top of Hale's cheekbones.
The eye makeup look is thanks to e.l.f Cosmetics New Classics Eyeshadow Palette. The shade Earth was used to define the crease with Charmer and Beloved being brushed over the lids. To finish off the eyes Deenihan applies 3 coats of e.l.f Cosmetics Volume Plumping Mascara.
Since the makeup look was inspired by Lucy Hale's dress is was obvious that it would be finished with an iconic red lip. The lipstick used was e.l.f Cosmetics Moisturizing Lipstick in Red Carpet (named conveniently for the event)
