My Makeup Routine Featuring All Of My Favourite Products

Hi everyone! I'm going to be sharing my favourite makeup products that I use as a part of my makeup routine. I've always really been into makeup and lately I have been trying different products and wanted to let you what know what I think about them which I will be showing you in this post.

1. NYX Professional Makeup Porefessional Primer

I swear by this product as a base for my full face of makeup. You get lots of product in the bottle and it is really easy to apply. The consistency is smooth hydrating my face when I apply it and creating the perfect base for the rest of my makeup.

2. Colourpop Foundation Stix in the shade Medium 85 C

I was skeptical when ordering this foundation online because I wasn't sure if the shade I ordered would match my skin tone but it was perfect. It is really easy to use a foundation stick over a liquid and it gives a more natural dewy finish.

3. Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in the shade Light Neutral

I LOVE this concealer so much! It is my absolute favourite makeup product in my collection. If you are looking to splurge on a high end concealer I would definitely recommended Tarte Shape Tape. The concealer is thick and creamy while provided the fullest coverage I have seen from a complexion product. The applicator makes the product simple to apply and one dot goes a long way meaning you will get a lot of use from the concealer.

4. Fenty Beauty Pro Filtr Instant Retouch Setting Powder in the shade Butter

I opted for the travel sized version of this setting powder and wish I had gotten the full sized version. The powder is very fine and smells amazing. It sets my makeup without making it look cakey or creasing. It works exceptionally well with the aforementioned Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer.

5. Sportsgirl California Contour Palette

I have already done a review on this palette and have used it a few times since then. It blends into my skin nicely creating a bronzed look that isn't too dark compared to my fair skin tone. I use the shade 'Slide'

6. Kylie Cosmetics Christmas 2018 Pressed Illuminating Powder in the shade Snow Angel

I was one of the lucky few who got their hands on Kylie Jenners Christmas Collection last year and I am happy that I did. The highlighter comes in a stunning shade as you can see in the swatch above. I love the colour of the Christmas packaging as well which add to the whole aesthetic of the 'Kylighter' Unfortunately this highlighter is no longer available on the Kylie Cosmetics website but the Salted Caramel shade of her original Kylighters is a close dupe.

7. Too Faced Christmas 2017 Best Year Ever Set - Natural Beauty Palette

This palette came in a set of three 6 pan eyeshadow palettes and a mascara for Christmas 2017. The palette is highly pigmented and all the shades can be used to create a natural eye look. It also comes with a bronzer in a fairly large pan which is a plus. I tend to use the first four shades to create my usual eye look.

8. NYX Professional Makeup Control Freak Clear Eyebrow Gel

The wand on this eyebrow gel is what I love most about it. It allows me to evenly disperse the gel throughout my eyebrow without becoming clumpy or sticky. The gel also works well to lift up my lashes as a clear mascara.

9. Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in the shade Nova

This is the only bullet lipstick I own from Kylie Cosmetics but I will definitely be buying more in my next order. The shade is a pretty rose nude which is similar to her Bare Matte Lip Kit. The lipstick does not dry down and feels comfortable on my lips.

10. M.A.C Prep + Prime Fix + Original

I can't finish my makeup look without a spray of my Fix +. It hydrates my face and makes sure that my makeup doesn't budge. It is a staple piece in my makeup collection and everyone who I have recommended it to has told my that they bought one for themselves and loved it. You can buy it in other scents such as Coconut and Rose.
