Florres Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow Review

I've never been one to cover my eyelids in super glittery eyeshadow shades but I have always admired the way it looked. For a while now I have considered purchasing a liquid glitter eyeshadow but with so many shades, textures and brands it was a difficult decision that I never got around to making. That all changed when I discovered Florres a beauty brand specialising in lashes and glitter eyeshadows. I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to try all three shades of their glitter liquid eyeshadows. Here is what I thought below.

The Details:

The glitter liquid eyeshadows can be purchased for $14.90 each on florres.com and come in three shades Gold, Light Pink and Silver.

The Packaging:

The glitter liquid eyeshadows in packaging resembling a lip gloss except with a cube shape. The applicator is flat on both sides which is very convenient for evenly dispersing the product and also for a comfortable experience when applying the product. The applicator is also good for applying the product as a liquid eyeliner as it has a flat, curved tip rather than a point doe foot. There is also a stopper near the neck of the packaging to ensure that a decent amount of product is used without any mess. The rose gold colour of the lid, as well as the font of the brand's name, make this product aesthetically pleasing.

The Shades:

The names of these shades are pretty self-explanatory with the exception of Gold which actually gives off more of a rose gold shimmer when applied. Each shade has gorgeous flecks of micro glitters which compliment the overall colour of the product. The colours are pigmented and shimmery which is perfect for their intended purpose. I would personally only use this shade on the centre of the lid, inner corner or brow bone rather than over the entire lid due to its high pigment. The Gold eyeshadow is the most universal of the three shades as it would work well on a variety of skin tones. The other shades could be limiting for people with darker skin tones but are stunning nonetheless.

The Texture & Pigmentation:

Each of these shades goes on cool and wet. They all apply evenly but the Silver needed a few layers to achieve the same consistency that the other shades had on their first try. It took less than a minute for these shades to dry down and when they did they were even more glittery than when first applied which I loved. The shades could easily be manipulated with your fingers or a flat shades brush before drying down which was excellent. There was minimal fall out when I blended or swatched the shades and they attached to my eyelids well with the help of an eyeshadow primer to help them stick.

Final Verdict:

Would I use this product again?

Yes. It looks gorgeous on my eyelid.

Would I recommend this product?

If someone was looking for an affordable liquid eyeshadow I would.

Would I purchase this product again?

Maybe just the Gold shades as it's my absolute favourite.

Final Rating: 4.5/5
